Dr. Lyla Boustani firmly believes in the inherent value of a natural tooth and will do anything in her power to save a tooth. Her patients are consistently impressed with her demeanor, honesty, and innate caring for their well-being. Patients always come out of treatment feeling relaxed and satisfied.

Dr. Lyla (as she prefers) has extensive experience performing thousands of root canals with an outstandingly high success rate, meaning patients are not subject to careless infections or unnecessary repeat procedures. Having a deep passion for her craft, Dr. Lyla dedicates ample time for every patient, is remarkably meticulous, and systematically detail-oriented in her treatment methodologies.

Dr. Lyla received her dental degree from the prestigious USC School of Dentistry, and immediately began the rigorous General Practice Residency in Hospital Dentistry at UCLA Hospital finishing at the top of her class. During this residency, Dr. Lyla treated many severely medically compromised patients and performed numerous intravenous sedations and later obtained her intravenous conscious sedation permit after training with world renowned anesthesiologist Dr. Stanley Malamed.

She is a passionate animal lover and has 2 adopted cats. She supports a variety of animal rights campaigns including ASPCA and Sea Shepherds. Dr. Lyla enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, swimming, amateur photography, and has been an amateur concert pianist for 26 years.
