Dr. Mina Yochim earned her Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Southern California and completed two years of postdoctoral training at the UCLA School of dentistry.  A dental / medical mission trip piqued her interest in dentistry. She pursued her dream and completed her dental degree (D.M.D) at Nova Southeastern University in south Florida. During her 1st year of dental education, she had a beautiful daughter and her interests in pediatric dentistry developed and increased during the 4 years of dental education.

After completing dental school, she completed two years of pediatric dentistry specialty training at the University of Southern California. She is board certified in pediatric dentistry.  She loves to go to camping with family, to do activities with her daughter & husband, to volunteer at her daughter’s school and church, and to go on dental mission trips.  Dr. Yochim is an advocate of prevention and early-intervention.  As a mother and a pediatric dentist her ultimate goal is to make every dental appointment a positive experience for the child and the parents, contributing to excellent oral health for all children that she treats.
